What we built.

Acquired brain injury recovery is hard to measure. Progress is nonlinear, it spans cognitive, physical, and mindfulness dimensions simultaneously, and the patients tracking it are often the least equipped to interpret raw data. For BEARS to work clinically, it had to make that complexity legible to patients, to clinicians, and to researchers.

We built the platform from prototype to production. Patients get a single wellness score that tracks daily recovery progress across all dimensions. Clinicians get a full dashboard: patient monitoring, progress tracking, and flag-based alerts without manual review. The research layer sits underneath both, turning program data into longitudinal statistics that healthcare providers can actually use.

BEARS is HIPAA-compliant and licensed as SaaS to clinics and hospitals across Canada and the United States. ABI operates it. We maintain it.
